Maximum height: 0.9 m (3 ft.)
Along your rear property line:
Maximum height: 2.4m (8ft.)
Corner lot along the corner visibility triangle (See diagram):
Maximum height: 0.9 m (3 ft.) high for 7.5m (25ft.) on either side of the corner triangle
How High Can Your Fence Be?
Don’t worry if you aren’t sure about how high you can build your fence. At Citywide, we’ll look after making sure that your residential fence building meets your local fence regulations. The following will give you a general guideline as to how high you can have your fence built.
Waterloo Maximum Fence Heights
Rear and interior side yards :
Maximum height: 2.4m (8ft.)
Interior lot in front yard:
Maximum height: 0.9m (3 ft.)
Corner lot your flanking yard (the edge of your yard that flanks the road):
Maximum height: 1.8m (6ft.)

Cambridge Maximum Fence Heights
At the back of the building line:
Maximum height: 2.1m high (6ft. 10.7in.)
Between the building line and the front lot line: Maximum height: 0.9 m (3 ft.)
Corner lot along the corner visibility triangle: Maximum height: 0.75m (2ft. 5.5in.)
Along the remaining roadside of a corner lot: Maximum height: 2.1m high (6ft. 10.7in.)
